Losmandy Dovetail Plates

If you have a Losmandy mounting or a Paramount, and wish to mount one of our CT, AG telescopes, you will need one our our Losmandy Dovetail plates. These are both a solid base plate and suitable dovetail machined from a solid aero grade aluminium plate as shown in the photograph here. As a rule of thumb, we recommend the plate you choose be the same length as the aperture of your telescope. ODK’s are already fitted with the correct length dovetail plate.

Base Plates

These are used for attaching additional equipment such as Vixen style dovetails, see below or, guide-scopes to any of our telescopes with CNC rings fitted.

Dovetail Plates

Can be fitted to Base Plates above to mate CNC tube rings to EQ5, EQ6, HEQ5, Vixen mounts.
